Lukas Schrott is an external lector at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein for Economics. He also works as the CEO for regional development in Regionalentwicklung Bregenzerwald GmbH. He gained his PhD at the University of Innsbruck, Department of Public Finance in the PhD program of Economics. He focused on econometrics and other methodological aspects of economic analysis during his PhD studies. Within his Master studies, we focused not only on Economics, but also Psychology.
His working experience also includes managerial positions in several institutions with responsibility for project acquisitions, contract negotiations, data analysis and data mining, or strategic consulting for municipal governments. Within his research, he focuses on data analyses including panel and time series estimation, decomposition, stochastic and allocation in wealth economics and business psychology.
In the DANUBE: Law and Economics Review, 6(1): 1-23, he has published a paper called Regional Development in Advanced Countries: A Within-country Application of the Human Development Index for Austria together with Martin Gächter and Engelbert Theurl. The paper is downloadable here.
